This mug is hand thrown and decorated with snowdrops against a sage green background and has a white interior.
Snowdrops are one of the first flowers to appear each year and always make me realise that spring is not far away!

All my work is individually hand painted and there will be variations in the flowers so this mug would make a unique Easter or Mothers day gift.

This mug holds enough liquid for a good sized cup of tea or coffee - nearly three quarters of a pint in fact!

This hand thrown salt piglet is medium sized and handy to have for cooking or at the table and comes with its own little wooden spoon. It is decorated with snowdrops against a charcoal grey background and has a dark terracotta colour inside which contrasts well with the white of the salt.
It is hand painted in coloured slips and finished in a food safe clear glaze.

All my coloured slips (liquid clay) are applied manually, with a brush, and so variations in depth of colour will occur and occasionally reveal the the rich terracotta of the clay body beneath.

Easy sunset Lake Landscape in Watercolor

Let's paint a relaxing lake at sunset! I am trying out the Camlin Koyuko (Camel Watercolors) from India. I have been asked about them a lot over the years and finally saw them to purchase on Amazon. They are really affordable and perform well.

This hand thrown pottery teacup is decorated with black faced sheep and lambs against a sage green field and vibrant turquoise sky. The inside of the cup is also a turquoise blue.
The sheep are painted all around the cup, some grazing and some gazing!

The handle is hand pulled and comfortable to hold and the rounded shape of the cup makes it very nice to cradle in the hands.

It holds over half a pint or 350 mls tea to quench the thirst.

It would make a unique Easter or spring birthday gift for a farmer or country lover.

I paint my pottery with coloured slips which I mix myself from ball clay, metal oxides and ceramic stains . As well as regular sable paintbrushes I use sponges and primitive brushes which I make from splitting hazel twigs (often chewing them to achieve finer filaments!) and also use flower and seed heads to apply the design.

This item is sold at a reduced price because the opening has distorted during firing and is oval rather than round as intended. It still does the job though!

This hand thrown salt piglet is medium sized and handy to have next to the cooker or at the table and comes with its own little wooden spoon. It is decorated with violas in shades of purple against a vibrant apple green background and has a dark terracotta colour inside which contrasts well with the white of the salt.
It is hand painted in coloured slips and finished in a food safe clear glaze.
All my coloured slips (liquid clay) are applied manually, with a brush, and so variations in depth of colour will occur and occasionally reveal the the rich terracotta of the clay body beneath.

Dishwasher safe.

This hand thrown salt piglet is medium sized and handy to have for cooking or at the table and comes with its own little wooden spoon. It is decorated with a colourful meadow flowers with poppies design against a turquoise blue sky and has a dark terracotta colour inside which contrasts well with the white of the salt.


Each one is hand made and painted with the flowers and foliage slightly different.

I paint my pottery with coloured slips which I mix myself from ball clay, metal oxides and ceramic stains . As well as regular sable paintbrushes I use primitive brushes which I make from splitting hazel twigs (often chewing them to achieve finer filaments!) and also use natural sponges, flowers and seed heads to apply the design.

As my designs are applied manually variations in depth of colour will occur and occasionally reveal the the rich terracotta of the clay body beneath.


Finished in a food safe clear glaze.


Dishwasher safe.

This hand thrown salt pig is good for having next to the cooker and dipping your hand into when cooking. It is decorated with black faced sheep and lambs against a sage green field and turquoise sky background and has a dark terracotta colour inside which contrasts well with the white of the salt.

It would make a useful gift for a country cook or farmer.

I made this plant pots using chamotte clay are individually shaped and painted.

Can I make Dollar Store Stickers Look classy? 10 Cards Mega Stamping Workshop! Let's Play!

This madness started with 2 packs of dollar store sticker I wanted to use up. I usually don't like how stickers look on my cards but that's because I usually add them at the end as an afterthought. What If I designed the cards with the stickers in mind? How would that look? You see in today's video, I used up every sticker and made 10 cards and use lots of stuff I've had for age and some new things too! This is "use what you have" project!
