Hi friends, Today we are going to review the new Paul Rubens full pan watercolor set available on Amazon:
*Disclaimer: Affiliate links used and the product was sent to me for free for review.
This set features generous full pans of vivid transparent watercolor in a large metal tin. The paints come with an overlay with color names and numbers as well as lightfastness ratings. The star lightfastness system they use translates to 2 stars being poor and 4 stars being high (good) lightfastness. *The color names, number, and lightfastness ratings are the same as the ones for the Sonnet student watercolors from Neveskya Palletra (AKA the company that makes White Nights and Yarka Saint Petersburg.) the pans in the Paul Rubens set are larger but the colors appear to be exactly the same. I think there might be a collaboration between the brands here. I like both paints to be honest.
These are also very comparable to the pretty excellent set also made by Paul Rubens:
Pros:
Price (24 colors for about $25)
Large metal mixing palette/storage tin
Glazes well
Very Transparent
Vivid color
Cons:
Several colors are probably not very lightfast
I think they are a good deal for the price, just keep the lightfast issues in mind.

UK Mug Shots, home for a range of quality ceramic tea and coffee mugs for those who love Star Trek, Star Wars and and other Sci-Fi themes!
So, from a galaxy far, far away, or just beamed up or even freshly made in the replicator, we have a range of ceramic mugs that may be right for you or as a gift. You’ll recognise familiar sayings from TV episode or movie (often with a coffee or tea twist to it!) as well as images that you will instantly recognise.
The Star Trek mugs mostly feature famous sayings or quotes, but there are some images, where we’ve been able to provide them. They make great Star Trek gifts for the devotee. Anything from the early Star Trek episodes to the later versions featuring say the Borg, we try to feature them somewhere.
