This hand thrown little cup is suitable for serving coffee or could be used as a first cup for a small child.
Each one is individually hand painted with a design I call meadow flowers which gives an impression of cow parsley, buttercups, cornflowers and poppies amongst grasses against a blue sky.
Decorated with coloured slips and finished in a food safe clear glaze.
Each cup is hand thrown and the handle is hand pulled which makes it comfortable to hold.
All my coloured slips (liquid clay) are applied manually, with a brush, and so variations in depth of colour will occur and occasionally reveal the the rich terracotta of the clay body beneath.
