This hand thrown salt piglet is medium sized and handy to have for cooking or at the table and comes with its own little wooden spoon. It is decorated with vibrant red poppies against a turquoise background and has a dark terracotta colour inside which contrasts well with the white of the salt.
It is hand painted in coloured slips and finished in a food safe clear glaze.
All my coloured slips (liquid clay) are applied manually, with a brush, and so variations in depth of colour will occur and occasionally reveal the the rich terracotta of the clay body beneath.
Dishwasher safe.
